Clue System
A clue system is the mechanism by which an escape room venue delivers hints to players who are stuck or need guidance. Common methods include text displayed on a TV screen, messages sent via walkie-talkie, clues slipped under the door, or — in immersive venues — hints delivered in character by a live actor. The best clue systems feel natural within the world of the room rather than breaking the fourth wall. Some venues offer unlimited hints, while others limit them to preserve the challenge. At Escape Hour, our clue delivery is woven into the narrative so you stay immersed even when you need a nudge.
