Glossary Term
Puzzle Room
"Puzzle room" is another term for escape room, commonly used to highlight the problem-solving and cerebral elements of the experience. While all escape rooms feature puzzles, the term "puzzle room" tends to emphasize logic challenges, pattern recognition, and mechanical interactions over narrative or theatrical elements. Some venues use this term interchangeably with escape room, while others differentiate between puzzle-focused rooms and more story-driven immersive experiences. At Escape Hour, our rooms blend both — challenging puzzles woven into rich, cinematic narratives so you're never just solving for the sake of solving.
