The standard time limit across the industry is 60 minutes, though some rooms offer 45-minute or 90-minute variants. The countdown creates urgency and tension, transforming puzzle-solving from a leisurely activity into a thrilling race against the clock. Most venues display the remaining time on a screen or clock within the room. At Escape Hour, our 60-minute sessions include a pre-game briefing and post-game debrief, so plan for about 75–90 minutes total for your visit. The time pressure is part of the magic — it's what makes that final-minute escape so exhilarating.
