Time Limit
The time limit is the fixed duration your team has to solve all puzzles and complete the escape room's objectives. The standard time limit across the industry is 60 minutes, though some rooms offer 45-minute or 90-minute variants. The countdown creates urgency and tension, transforming puzzle-solving from a leisurely activity into a thrilling race against the clock. Most venues display the remaining time on a screen or clock within the room. At Escape Hour, our 60-minute sessions include a pre-game briefing and post-game debrief, so plan for about 75–90 minutes total for your visit. The time pressure is part of the magic — it's what makes that final-minute escape so exhilarating.
